Abby and I used to keep track of Roni’s English-translation quotes (she is Israeli). The use and mis-use was captured in all of their hilarity on our quote board. Since we’ve moved, the quote board has disappeared. But the hilarity definitely lives on.
Today Mary IM’d me that Roni is pitching something for Twitter. Only she’s calling it Tweeter.
This is no gravity v. graffiti – but these beautiful little pieces of fun need to have a home – so I am officially keeping track here.

P.S. one of my good friends said “if you laugh at someone that makes mistakes in English, it probably means you never lived anywhere else. It basically means you are provencial”.
